The Thermocouple Temperature Sensor
The thermocouple is generated by Seebeck Effect. Generally speaking, a thermocouple is composed of conductors of two different materials. When a temperature difference occurs at the two ends of the thermocouple, the thermocouple will generate a voltage signal in proportional to the temperature difference. The voltage signal ranges from tens of uV to thousands of uV; therefore, we need to magnify the voltage when using it.

The analog input module receives external 4-point analog signal input (voltage or current) and transforms it into 14 bits digital signal. The analog input module of DVP04AD-S series can read/write the data of analog input module by using commands FROM / TO via DVP-PLC SS/SA/SX Series MPU program. There are 49 CR(Control Register) in each module and there are 16 bits in each register. z DVP04AD-S analog input module can update software version by RS-485 communication. The IC200PNS001 is a VersaMax PROFINET Scanner by GE that interfaces a remote node of VersaMax modules to a PROFINET I/O network. Functions of the IC200PNS001 include retrieving input data and delivering output data.

The IC200UDR010 module is a power supply module that has been manufactured as part of the Versamax Micro series of PLCs that are made by GE Fanuc Automation. The analog signal input module DVP06AD-S is able to receive 6 points of external analog signal inputs (both in voltage and current) and convert the signals into 14-bit digital ones. It is able to read and write the data in the module through FROM/TO instructions given by the program of DVP-PLC SS/SA/SX/SX series MPU. There are 49 16-bit control registers in the module. ™
